Sonoran Brown Tepary Bean

Phaseolus acutifolius Heirloom. 1-2 ft. drought tolerant and delicious bush dry bean. Traditionally cultivated with the summer monsoon rains in the american desert southwest now showing its resilience in the arid summers of California. When the temperatures get to 90-100F. and most beans are merely in survival mode these traditional Sonoran desert relatives of the common bean are happily producing beans. ~70 seeds.
