Sonora Wheat

Triticum aesitivum ssp aesitivum Heirloom Drought tolerant and rust resistant. One of the oldest introduced wheats to the Americas from at least 1770 in Sonora, Mexico. Traditionally used for tortillas. A Soft White Wheat seeing a renaissance among farmers and bakers in North America for its delicious pizza, pasta and flatbreads. Grown by local farmer Doug Mosel of the Mendocino Grain Project. ~200 seeds
