Esplette Pepper

Capsicum annuum Heirloom  2-3 ft. Known in the Basque region of the French Pyrenees as Ezpeletako Bipera or Piment d`Esplette this productive and smoky flavored red pepper is rated at a mild 4,000 Scoville heat units. Grown around the town of Esplette in the Nive valley since the 16th century the ground dried red pepper is a must in any kitchen. Grown here locally in the Anderson Valley by Piment D`ville.~40 seeds
